Learning Support Assistant - Derby, United Kingdom - Supply Teach
Description
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Working with pupils on a onetoone basis or in small groups
- Providing pastoral care and support to pupils with ASD
- Helping to create a positive learning environment
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources
- Liaising with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude
