Are you looking for a challenging and varied role which makes great use of your organisational and planning skills?
As the Governance & Administration Manager for this registered charity, you will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the office, and as part of the Leadership team, you'll help the Board of Trustees achieve the Society's charitable objectives.
The role encompasses all aspects of office management, including supplier management, acting as the first point of contact for HR issues, and also building and maintaining the great relationship with volunteers who are central to the charity's work.
If you haven't previously done so, it's essential that you have the interpersonal and communication skills to co-ordinate and manage this vital element of the team.
Essential for the role- Ability to commute to the office in Ardingly. There's a bus service but you'll likely have access to a car to ease the commute
- Previous experience in a broad office management role
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Available and willing to work a number of weekends (up to 10 days p.a. ) to support the charity's activities and events
- experience of working in a charity or not for profit organisation
- an affinity with the charity's countryside and agricultural focus
- experience in a role with governance responsibilities
