The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity at James Fisher Offshore for a Materials Coordinator. If you are looking for a future career in Procurement, then this would be the role for you


Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the stock levels, supporting procurement as and when required, and developing and nurturing contacts with suppliers.

You will also be working closely with the Equipment Supervisor and the Project Team.

We are looking for similar experience, "can-do-attitude" and willingness to learn and excel skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise timely and effective control of the products purchased.
  • Provide excellent internal service to other departments, and ultimately our customers.
  • Manage stock levels and values.
  • Restocking used inventory into containers.
  • Conduct stock checks on inventory within containers.
  • Produce timely accurate reports when required.
  • Loading and counting inventory.
  • Audit and data maintenance to ensure information is up to date.
  • Testing appropriate IT equipment for use with sonar and related equipment.
  • Liaising with IT or separately purchasing and managing licensing.
  • Installing and maintaining software installations.
  • Managing and monitoring related ancillaries.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform any additional reasonable functions as and when required.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a similar role (strores/procurement background will be beneficial).
  • Very good IT skills.
  • Attentiontodetail and organisational skills.
