About Our Client:

This is a prime opportunity to join a large-scale, highly reputable organisation within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. This company is recognised for their innovative approach to sustainable energy and environmental conservation.

They are renowned for their commitment to staff development and boast a team of dedicated professionals based in their Walsall location.

The Accounts Assistant will;

  • Perform financial calculations such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity and principal.
  • Inputting transactions on Xero accounting software
  • Collaborate in streamlining the processing and oversight of purchase invoices and supplier payments, ensuring alignment with procedural benchmarks.
  • Assist in the timely processing of payments to various entities
  • Contribute to the efficient processing and oversight of sales invoices, including the accurate allocation of received payments within the ledger, aligning with established standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform adhoc assignments as required.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting & Finance.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

What's on Offer:


  • An hourly salary range of 13.50 GBP to 16.50 GBP.
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Full time hours, 9am 5pm, Monday
