Operations Assistant

Not for Profit Membership Organisation

1 Day Central London, 4 Days Home Full time

Basic Salary £28,000 to £32,000 (dependent on experience) plus a range of excellent benefits including 5% pension contribution, private healthcare insurance. Annual health & wellbeing allowance Annual leave on your birthdate and ELAS employee engagementand reward scheme

An Initial 12 Month Contract with view to going Permanent.


My client a reputable not for profit membership organisation based in Central London is currently looking for an Operations Assistant on an initial 12 month contract with a view to going permanent.


The Role


We are looking for an Operations Assistant to manage the daily business administration activities and contribute to the day to day running of the organisation.

You will be a proactive and deadline driven individual who will play a crucial part in a smallorganisation working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director.


Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the day-to-day finances and report to the Finance Director

Month end reporting and account reconciliations for company bookkeepers

Maintain and reconcile credit card statements

Chasing outstanding debtors

Point of contact for all finance and membership queries

Data entry, updating and cleaning of company CRM system (YourMembership)

Manage membership renewals

Manage the company mailbox

Book travel arrangements

Coordinate maintenance of office equipment

General administration support across the business (finance, membership, events & sales)


Key Experience Required
1-2 years experience in a similar role within a Membership Organisation is essential

Confident and highly organised individual with a can-do attitude

Strong literacy, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a flexible environment

Driven, self-motivated, innovative and enthusiastic

Understanding of financial practices would be beneficial

Technically competent with various software programs such as Microsoft Office
