Tecoglas is a successful and financially secure business that specialise in the design of furnaces and glass plants to the worldwide glass industry.

It can trace it's heritage back to the 1940s, it was formed to develop fuel-fired furnaces, mainly regenerative,but some recuperative, primarily for the container and fibreglass industries.

Tecoglas is enjoying an exciting period of growth with a healthy order-book for the next several years.

As part of this growth, they are looking for Project Managers who can deliver on the design and installation of glass-making plants for customers worldwide.

We're looking for Project Managers with a strong technical background in design, delivery and installation and furnaces or similar melting equipment, including liaising with customers, managing external partners/contractors, and delivering projects on time,within budget and to all safety and quality standards.

They will lead a team of design and commissioning engineers to deliver complex projects ranging in value from £5m-£20m to be delivered worldwide, with major customers.

The role will involve:

• Working closely with customers to understand requirements
• Managing projects from initial specification through to commissioning
• Leading a team of highly motivated engineers
• Ensuring all work carried out meets contract deadlines
• Managing project budgets
• Responsibility for safety and quality standards throughout all stages of the project
• A degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge of furnaces, melting, high temperature processes
• Welldeveloped Project Management skills
• A background delivering design and installation projects
• Willing to travel and oversee installation 23 times per year
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Auto CAD Inventor
• Possess the leadership and commercial acumen to develop to Director level
