We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic individual to work across to take a leading role for contracts within their area of responsibility as well as contributing and supporting other areas of the team when necessary.


The Finance Business Partner - Acute Services role is critical to support the develop the finance roadmap across the ICB and HCPs and will play a crucial part to establish effective and productive relationships with healthcare providers, stakeholders and system partners.


The post-holder is required to a good understanding of the finance healthcare landscape and have relevant experience and knowledge of the NHS.

The main responsibilities of this role will be in the finance team, specialising in Acute sector (both independent and acute sector) and the ability to understand the information provided by the sector and interpret the financial impact that underlies the data is crucial to this role.


NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the local NHS organisation that plans and oversees how NHS money is spent and makes sure health services work well and are of high quality.


The ICB's role is to join up health and care services, improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for the 1.5 million people who live in Hertfordshire and West Essex.

The post holder will need to demonstrate technical knowledge and be able to delivery accurate, effective and timely financial information, developing trends and analysis of the Healthcare spend.
