THE ROLE - Trade Marketing Executive
Responsible for managing and creating timely, accurate and effective B2B campaigns delivered through the trade/ retail partnership channels accordance. Able to develop and evaluate trade campaigns to maximise sales and ROI.

The main tasks of the role include, but are not limited to, that which is contained in this position description.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trade & Partner Marketing

  • Work with the Trade Marketing Manager and wider Marketing Team to ensure all campaigns and activity are delivered in a joined up and cohesive manner across trade channels
  • Set B2B and partner marketing objectives to support commercial targets, analyse results and evaluate performance. Use results to make recommendations to enhance future campaigns and activity.
  • Work with the internal studio design team and agency partners to produce onbrand collateral as required
  • Timely and accurate briefing, proofing and feedback on all partner marketing
  • Technical proof for all activity featuring pricing or promotions checking lead ins, departures, T&C's etc
  • Prepare departmental reports, monitor results and provide feedback and learnings to stakeholders
  • Budget tracking monitoring trade spend to ensure return on investment
  • Updating trade (retail) partner intranets and trade association websites with specials
  • Responsible for promotion of the online training programme
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement trade social content calendar
  • Management of trade website
  • Trade CRM/database management

Brand Custodianship

  • Ensure all communications are accurate, on brand, and consistent with marketing positioning and key messaging
  • Work closely with all internal and external partners to ensure brand guidelines are interpreted accurately, consistently and adhered to
  • Act in advisory role to partners and other departments on brand, look and feel and tone of voice
  • Proactively uphold the APT reputation and brand

Relationship and Stakeholder Management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster harmonious working relationships with key partners and trade stakeholders
  • Work with Marketing Team to ensure all relevant stakeholders are briefed on marketing activity on regular basis
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, external trade partners, Head Office, suppliers and agencies
  • Work with Customer Service Centre team to ensure campaign activity supports sales conversion
  • Day to day management of agencies and contractors to ensure timely delivery of activity

Skills & Qualification Requirements:


  • Relevant experience in a marketing role which includes both print and digital skillset
  • Proven track record delivering campaigns on time and to budget across multiple channels. Partner marketing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and foster strong stakeholder relationships, able to arrive at solutions to keep campaigns and projects running on time
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience briefing and working with creative department or agencies
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all information is represented accurately and in clear, concise manner relevant to the intended audience
  • Accountable, will own the responsibility to make things happen on time and to budget
  • Proactive, with drive and enthusiasm to improve and evolve campaigns
  • Analytical, with the ability to draw meaning from reports and data
  • Understanding of how marketing is linked to business performance (long/short term)
  • Budgetary management able to plan, execute and manage against a set budget
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively across department and with stakeholders to arrive at an optimal business outcome
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competent in using Excel
