Electro-Mechanical Engineer - Cheadle k


My client are a leading engineering company specialising in a range of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Hi-Tech, and Medical Devices.

Due to their continued success, they're looking for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to help carry outactivities as required by the business on maritime systems.


Essential:


  • Applicable experience to electrical and electro-mechanical design in a surface ship platform environment
  • Experience in producing Technical Files
  • Assembly and design cable experience, employing military-style connectors and backshells
  • Complete engineering lifecycle experience (testing, implementation, design, and requirements)
  • Design of associated copper (electrical) / fibre (optical) network interconnections
  • Experience in producing electrical designs and certifying designs in accordance with ROHS and REACH Directives

Desirable:


  • JIRA
  • Understanding of Naval platforms and equipment
  • Designing with PCI, Hotlink and Ethernet interfaces
  • Understanding of cable screening methods and military style cable construction
  • DOORS

Qualifications:


  • HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent experience
