We are seeking a Project Manager who will be within the Commercial and Central Functions Divisionwhere you will have end to end accountability for project delivery and the delivery of change.

RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion.

Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodologyfrom a variety of sectors including Logistics, Media, Banking and Central Government.

We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.


What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our clients expanding Data, Analytics & Innovation community. The role will be key in supporting and strengthening of their organisation in Data-Driven decision making.


The role will be embedded within the newly formed Data, Analytics and Innovation team and will support the future strategy for our clients data practice, providing hands on project coordination support to an expanding project team.


Some recent projects delivered by the team include apps for the delivery of Covid-19 test kits, new API services for online retail and pharmaceutical deliveries, new parcel collection services from the home and many analytical improvements to further protecttheir staff.


To be successful in this role, you will have a varied background with most of the below;

Essential:


  • Experience in supporting supplier relationships. The role holder will be expected to support the team to coordinate activities across multiple suppliers, support the financial tracking and onboarding/ offboarding of resources across DAI.
  • Experience in managing finances, forecasts vs actuals, adhoc financial reporting, raising and closing purchase orders, etc
  • Support risk management tracking, populating and working with risk action owners to document, track and update risks across DAI
  • Support meetings and team planning where required.
  • Support the team in line with standard project coordinator activities.
  • Project demand processes: projectising data related demand and alignment to multidisciplinary teams
  • P3M best practice implementation within the data team across agile, waterfall and internal data project types : This includes roll out of new tooling (Monday), change & stakeholder management duties associated with the implementation and iteration to supportevolution of project delivery including a communications campaign
  • Support the creation of PMO processes, documents and guidance inc. budget, risk management, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Scheduling meetings and facilitating communication between the project team and business throughout the project life cycle.
  • Proven PMO/Project Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management software experience
  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and Project)

Desirable:


  • Project management software experience including configuration and the design of a range of reports
  • Understanding and experience of project accounting
