Cloud Test Automation Engineer - Remote - Up to £70k plus bonus

Package:
Up to £70,000 + great bonus, generous pension, private healthcare & more.


Lorien is proud to be once again working alongside our Financial Services client, as they look to recruit a Cloud Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a fully automated test framework for thecloud platform.


With this opportunity, our client are also offering remote working with a remuneration package including a great bonus (based on company and individual performance), a generous pension scheme, 30 days plus public holidays, private healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical solutions and products taking into account enduser expectations
  • Develop suitable test automation tools, using the latest techniques
  • Work alongside other test engineers to determine requirements and develop appropriate test cases
  • Design and deliver test scripts across multiple layers
  • Mentor junior test engineers, and coach developers and software engineers

The skills/knowledge required:


  • Any AWS Cloud certifications
  • ISEB, ITSQB or other relevant certifications
  • Strong exposure to automated testing environments
  • Background working in Agile product environment
  • Previous knowledge utilising code versioning software (BitBucket and Github)
  • AWS technologies, such as Data Lake, Lambda, & Glue
  • Any exposure to web service, RESTful API testing, or working in a cloud serviceorientated environment, would be a bonus
