    Project Architect Job Opportunity

    We are working closely with a well-established architectural practice based in Northampton to recruit a Project Architect.

    The practice is one of the longest-standing and most successful practices in the Northampton area, boasting a strong client portfolio across public and private sectors. With a team of over 30 architectural professionals, including talented architects, technologists, and assistants, they offer a personalized approach throughout the construction process.

    Projects vary in scale, from £100k to £100m, but their passion for design and detail remains consistent regardless of project size. Sectors include logistics, education, industrial, office/workplace, mixed-use, residential, and more.

    The practice is in a strong position following recent project wins and has a solid pipeline of work, making it an ideal time to appoint a Project Architect.

    The Role - Project Architect

    This role is for an experienced Project Architect with approximately 2-3 years of post-qualification experience. You will join an office of around 25 architectural colleagues and be responsible for running projects, potentially leading a small team. You will primarily work on large-scale commercial projects throughout the UK, requiring comfort in client-facing positions.

    The practice has invested heavily in Revit software and BIM systems, so a demonstrable background in using Revit daily is essential.

    Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Fully qualified architect with UK recognized qualifications
    • Approximately 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
    • ARB registration/RIBA accreditation (desirable)
    • Comfortable leading projects and working autonomously
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software (essential)
    • Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably within the Commercial sector

    Salary and Benefits

    You will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, likely in the region of £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
