We are looking to appoint a highly experienced Health, Safety & Compliance leader.


This is an exceptional opportunity to provide professional health, safety & compliance leadership to our teams on all levels, as well as offering support and advice to the management teams, employees and contractors.

Therefore, we are seeking a postholder who will continue to improve performance through the implementation of health and safety management systems, as well as other current standards and legislation.

The role will include,

  • Successfully design, deliver and maintain a health and safety change programme to embed and drive a positive safety culture across the organisation
  • Ensure the timely delivery of associated health and safety management action plans and operational programmes
  • Oversee consistency of delivery of health and safety training, measure, identify and pursue significant issues
  • Assist in the development and delivery of strategic objectives, reporting to the board when required on performance
What you will need to have,

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction/buildings maintenance/compliance environment
  • A track record in advising in a site/project environment
  • Hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Knowledge and experience of good working practices in Health, Safety and Compliance is crucial
  • Confidence to act as a member of the Operations Directorate, Wider Leadership and Senior Management Teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience of managing a team of health, safety and compliance professionals, have acted as a CDM Coordinator under CDM 2007 or a Client Advisor under CDM 2015
