A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you are part of a team of Global Mobility Project Consultants.

In addition to day-to-day project concept consulting particularly in the areas of income and social taxes, immigration and (employment) law) for our business, you drive the implementation of a global project consulting foundation and connect with our business managers to ensure speed of personnel mobilization in a compliant, repeatable way.


How You'll Make an Impact
Responsibility for providing global mobility-focused business project consulting to your business partners in your assigned region for both bids/offers and orders, ensuring that the project concepts follow all relevant immigration, tax, social security and labor laws

Identifying the global mobility (GMM) needs of your internal customers as well as developing country assignment concepts as well as business focused concepts for customer projects in both the offer (bid stage) and execution phases

Driving optimization and implementation of cross-border ways of working defined during standard methodology sharing sessions internally as well as externally

Partner up with colleagues across vendors, HR and legal organization as well as with the corporate tax function in various countries, understand specific tax concepts and their impact on the business; proactively find effective solutions for the business to succeed in the bidding stage of the projects while collaborating with teams from the business

Continuously driving optimization as well as efficiency by using and further developing both internal and external conceptual solutions

Leading by example, sharing your knowledge on a regular basis with business and within the GMM stakeholder community on customer project consulting concepts, challenges, and opportunities

Proactively getting in touch with the business virtually and in person with a focus on consulting on strategic assignment concepts within our projects

Identifying as well as understanding risk associated with cross border business and finding solutions on how to avoid risk for Siemens Energy and find suitable and cost-efficient solutions


What You Bring
Previous GMM experience combined with a proven background in International Human Resources and Tax Consulting

Thorough understanding of operating models relevant to Siemens Energy, particularly with regard to international project work in the energy / EPC sector

Work experience in different energy and/or EPC companies and have experience with living and working in different regions / with different cultures would be ideal

Deep knowledge of project commercials from the bid through project close-out stages and ability to influence Siemens Energy's commercial propositions through your Global Mobility expertise

Outstanding communication and presentation skills and team mentality with the flexibility to work in a globally distributed team of experts

Interest in global mobility trends as well as innovative approach to new challenges and opportunities which might arise

Fluent in written and spoken English, second languages always beneficial

Willingness to travel (infrequent travel is expected)

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function - Global Mobility Management, a team responsible for one of the largest, most complex global mobility programs in the world.

Our team is responsible for guaranteeing the compliant, rapid and economically viable cross-border movement of Siemens Energy employees to job sites and foreign offices around the world.
