Trainee Contract Estimator:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working from customer drawings to produce detailed quotations
Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings
Create full routing information including labour and material costing
Liaise with subcontract suppliers as required
Input all information into the MRP estimation system in order to produce quotations
Monitoring enquiries within the company and speaking directly with customers and Suppliers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

Preferable for the applicant to have some experience working in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Strong attention to detail
An excellent level of IT ability including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week
