Who are MPAAS?


MPAAS are an accredited Meter Operator and Meter Asset Manager which means that not only do we own the smart meter asset, but we can fit the smart meter on behalf of your energy supplier.

This makes us the face of the energy supplier; the ones who visit your home or business and our qualified Dual Fuel Meter Installers undertake the installation.

In addition to this we also undertake revenue protection work for our energy suppliers. That's why we pride ourselves in delivering first class customer service to all of our consumers.

From the point of booking through to installation our personalised consumer journey keeps everyone informed every step of the way.


Summary of the role
This is a new role within the MPAAS business.

You will be part of an exciting new EV business venture with a key focus in the electrical vehicle charging infrastructure sector.

This fast-paced high growth market requires a person with a deep level of knowledge and experience in Electrical, EV installations & Civils work, Carrying out desktop and on site surveys nationwide providing detailed reports to allow for installation costs to be submitted to our customers.


Your overarching key responsibilities
As a EV Charging Surveyor you will be responsible for carrying out detailed surveys on commercial premises around the UK looking at all aspects of the project including but not limited to:

  • Existing Electrical Load calculations
  • Required Electrical installation to fit the EV Charging Equipment to meet current regulations and legislation
  • Required Civils works
  • Signage
  • Impact protection
  • Any information needed to notify the DNO of the proposed installation
  • Provide a detailed report to the Head of EV Installation on each survey

Where you will fit in the Company
This role will sit within the EV Charging Installation part of Mpaas and report to the Head of EV Charging installations


What we are ideally looking for in you

  • Strong Electrical background (Commercial)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation
  • 18th Edition
  • Knowledge of Civils/Groundworks
  • City & Guilds 2919 EV Charging installation
  • Experience of EV Charger installations
  • Happy to travel nationwide with frequent overnight stays
  • Strong IT Skills inc excel, word, etc
    Other personal attributes that we would like you to have
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to go the extra mile
  • Attention to detail

£35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
