Platform Engineer, Telford, £60,000 - £75,000
You have the chance to be part of one of the most reputable consultancies in the UK.

The role entails working with the public sector, being proficient with AWS DevOps tech and being part of a talented team.

The company is looking for a platform engineer with a knack for Kubernetes.

On a day to day basis you can expect to work with AWS, Docker/K8s, Terraform and Jenkins as well as provide consultation, design and technical support for the delivery of projects.

You will act as somewhat of an expert in AWS tech and show collegiality byhelping (or receive help) your colleagues.

In terms of the role responsibilities it would be beneficial to have experience with the following:

Cloud (AWS)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Operating Systems (Linux)
IaC (Terraform)
Scripting (Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python)
Orchestration (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins)
Serverless (Lambda)

This is a role which provides more of an entrepreneurial environment rather than a pyramidal structure.

You can progress your own development in an autonomous environment, creating stretching objectives and seeking learning opportunities within the businessand beyond.
