Description
Responsibilities:
- Record and track all rental income per property
- Process rent payments received from tenants
- Manage accurate data of the rental payments, liaising with the team to chase and resolve late payments
- Issue invoices to landlords for management fees and other charges
- Issue purchase orders
- Bank reconciliation of client account and business account
- Record all the expenses, categorising them appropriately
- Record and process payments for subcontractors
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Account preparation for revision of VAT return
- Create and send statements through SME (letting software)
Experience, some not essential:
- A background working within the letting industry
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not essential
Job Types:

From £12.50 per hour

No less than 8 per week
