Automation Engineer(s)

Python / Java / GCP

Cardiff or Hybrid or Remote

40k - 65k + Benefits


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify automation opportunities, and develop / maintain automation frameworks
  • Integrate automated tests with the CI / CD pipeline
  • Collaborate well with the development team to define strategy and best practices
  • Looking for opportunities to shiftleft testing and utilise automation testing
  • Provide accurate documentation for conducted tests
  • Contribute toward the continuous improvement of testing and automation practices

Experience Required:

  • Experience building automation frameworks using Python, PowerShell, Java (or similar language)
  • Automated API/component integration testing with experience with Postman or similar tooling
  • Experience in integrating automated testing into a CI / CD pipeline (any experience with Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
  • Experience with BDD, Cucumber / Gherkin (or similar)
  • Experience with nonfunctional testing with JMeter (or similar)
  • Knowledge of JIRA, & GIT

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience testing within Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience within Data Analytics / Big Data or similar.
