ROLE MISSION


Working in partnership with our client, the Design Team Leader is central to the set-up and drives the onsite team to produce a wide variety of both print and digital work that are impactful and unique.

This is a great opportunity to help set up a brand new onsite agency for them, create a team and culture, and help look at brand control, artwork template creation, processes and reporting.

It will be a fast-paced studio looking at everything from creative ideas to Papirfly template creation.


ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING


Reporting to the Group Account Director the Design Team Leader oversees the the new studio team which will consist of a Design Team Lead, Integrated Design, Artworker, Traffic Manager and Copywriter working alongside the client service team of 6 people.

This is a great chance to lead creative and processes in a new client with a dedicated team of 10 people.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Leadership and development of a dedicated team centred around design/creative art working
  • Effective daily management of the OLIVER team onsite; providing direction, key decisionmaking, support and guidance as needed
  • Accountable and responsible for the financial management of the team via regular creation of Management Information reports and various performance metrics
  • Responsible for the generation and maintenance of ongoing effective working relationships with client stakeholders, regularly communicating with them on progress
  • Working in a team of 10, with 4 direct reports within a brand new studio set up and alongside 6 client service people
  • 4 direct reports.
  • This is a varied role, it will be high volume and fast paced but with the opportunity to pick up all the brand work to drive creativity.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships
  • Demonstrable, strong experience designing and producing marketing collateral in the form of (Insert type of work)
  • The ability to manage and develop junior team members providing mentoring
  • An aptitude for filtering, prioritising and managing workflow to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Knowledge of account management and invoicing
  • Creative ability with strong Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Experience in B2C sectors. Property experience is valuable but not essential.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in:
  • Digital
  • Print
  • Motion Graphics
  • Template creation in Papirfly
  • Artwork
  • Production
