• Receptionist

2 positions to cover maternity leave with view to permanent post. Hours of work varied. Shift patterns 8am-1pm/1pm-6pm. 25 hours per week. Payscales pro rata for part time working.


Duties will include:

• Offering assistance to the Practice team whilst projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
  Receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way:
• Dealing with administrative queries and requests from patients/clinicians
• Arranging appointments via our clinical software
• Giving test results/messages to patients
• Dealing with Prescription requests
• Processing patient registrations and requests for our Online Services
• Ensuring patient details are up to date

Essential Requirements:

• Good attention to detail and ability to adapt to all situations with ease
• Confident with IT
  Team player Work independently and ability to use own initiative
• Excellent customer service and patient focused
• Understand the importance of confidentiality

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£21,553.49-£22,462.79 per year

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
