OER are pleased to be searching for a Service Charge Accountant for a very established multidisciplinary surveying practice who offer a stable and friendly working environment._

Main Duties:

Manage the endtoend service charge process for residential, commercial and mixeduse properties
Ensure all yearend service charge reconciliations are completed within the 4month RICS deadline
Responsible for billing all balancing charges/credits to tenants
Lead on all internal service charge calls with the property and facility managers
Manage the transitions in/out process for all purchases, sales, and loss of management
Produce cash reconciliations for all service charge properties
Liaise with the relevant Property Managers on the portfolio, acting on and providing information
Attend meetings with clients when required and work with the clients to understand their needs, interpret their demands and respond as appropriate
Calculation and compilation of completion statements, rent review calculations and interest rates applicable
Review of property expenditure regularly and agreeing correctness with Property Manager or Site Manager
Completion of annual and quarterly service charge reconciliations complete with balance sheet/cash analysis and extended trial balance
Six monthly service charge actual expenditure to budgeted reporting
Review, recommendations & posting of prepayments and accruals at the service charge year end
