Are you looking for a highly commercial IT leadership role that allows you to partner with multiple stakeholders across a global, well established business? Do you enjoy taking a consultative approach with the ability to influence and engage at a senior level to ensure the business meets its strategic goals?

Reporting to the IT Director and a part of the Leadership team, you will act as the Business Partner between the BTS IT centre and your designated Business Units (internal clients/stakeholders).

The business units you will partner with are well recognised, very successful global food brands based in the UK and across the world.

This role will involve balancing competing business unit priorities and playing an active role in analysing the goals which contribute to BTS and your BU's strategies and roadmaps.

Encouraging a blue sky way of thinking and being able to challenge ways of working to ensure both businesses work in the most efficient way across a broad technology landscape.

We see this role as a hugely exciting opportunity that could bridge the gap between management to CIO level within ABF in the future, given the strategic and influential nature of the position.

What you'll be doing;

  • Proactively engage with BTS Product managers to understand the current service model and future capabilities that can support your clients goals. Be able articulate these within the clients IS teams to build engagement and support
  • Understand the Clients IT strategy and the related infrastructure needs, and represent this within BTS to ensure they are considered for overall strategic roadmap
  • Ensure that BTS project plans & pipeline align with the clients wider programmes and strategy and vice versa.
  • Hold responsibility for the costs incurred by the Clients for BTS services understanding and influencing the charging model and overheads
  • Work closely with solution architects and project managers to ensure any proposed solutions align with the customer requirements and ABF BTS standards
  • Monitor the progress of projects and programmes, working with project teams to understand and track delivery, anticipate risks and ensure effective resolution.
  • Partner with the Head of Programmes and Project Managers to identify and address any key dependencies between projects, portfolios and ongoing BAU activities across BTS and your customers.
  • Prepare and host Quarterly service reviews with your clients, collating material across BTS in line with the Service KPIs agreed by the User Experience group
  • Coordinate and communicate feedback to BTS teams and stakeholders, sharing challenges and dependencies with client teams to ensure full visibility and cross team understanding

What you'll bring;

  • A influential and engaging leader within the IT space who can think outside of the box and build relationships at a senior level.
  • Proven experience of strategic road mapping and delivery
  • Proven experience of delivering a range of complex IT projects, involving both inhouse and 3rd party resources
  • Experience working as an internal service provider for businesses of different sizes and maturity
  • Previous experience of managing high value 3rd party relationships
  • Experience of establishing credible relationships within IT and the Business community with examples of driving IT/Business change agenda
  • Has a passion for service excellence and continually strives to understand the customers' needs and how service can be aligned to meet these
So if you have the technical expertise and understanding across a broad IT landscape, alongside a passion for building relationships, change, planning and delivery, we want to hear from you
