Description

We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Poultry/Farm Worker to join our team during our currently busy periods.

The position will be working weekends and weekdays and weekly hours can be 12-20 hours weekly (2-3 days per week).

Previous poultry experience is not essential, as full training will be given, although having previous poultry or farm work experience would be advantageous.

Duties Include:

Providing high animal and bird welfare
Egg collection and packing
Basic maintenance
General farm work
Moving pallets with pallet truck or fork lift
Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
Maintaining safe working practices & high level of site and personal biosecurity standards
Reliable, responsible and hardworking
Be hands on and not afraid of hard work
Confident around hens
Able to work alone as well as in a team
Willing to learn with a cando attitude
Has an interest in providing high level of care and welfare to the hens

Own transport is essential.

Must not have any avian contact at home.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 2-3 months

Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

Salary:
£7.49-£10.50 per hour
