Salary:
£45,326+ (depending on skills and experience)


What you'll be doing:


  • Support to Delivery: Issue management / export paperwork collation (CofC, DGN) / support to schedule and risk management
  • Support to project reporting; specifically risk and opportunity management
  • Managing actions from customer, supplier and internal meetings and liaising with the wider team (commercial, finance, engineering, quality) on updates
  • Working with our Procurement team in BAES Land UK and other OEM's/ suppliers to understand any changes to the delivery schedule and monitoring and reporting these to the internal project team
  • Export control compliance activities with stakeholders to allow the generation of the paperwork required to export of explosive items.
  • Activities with stakeholders to allow the generation of the paperwork involved in accepting an item from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/ Supplier.
  • Review of the different transport options in exporting explosive items and any specific transport restrictions/requirements with a view to towards identifying the most efficient method for delivery.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites appox. once a month

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:

  • Risk and Opportunity Management


  • Project manager experience

  • Engaging with stakeholders and stakeholder management
  • Issue management
  • Export Control process

Desirable:

  • Handling and transporting WOME items
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR
  • Have or plan to undertake PMDY training (or relevant experience)

The Weapons and Electronic Warfare Team:

The Weapons element of the Weapons and Electronic Warfare (WEW) team have overall responsibility for the delivery of all SBDCP Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions and Explosive (WOME) Programme aspects as well as the associated weapons Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), including WOME and AGE procurement, co-ordinating aircraft and AGE qualification and integration activities, weapon surveillance and leading the WOME safety assessments.
