Are you a community mental health practitioner looking to join a specialist mental health agency for long term temporary placements in the southeast? Meditemp have multiple opportunities for an experienced and dedicated community mental health practitioner in Kent.

One of our clients in Bromley is looking for a confident and committed community mental health practitioner to join either of their community mental health teams Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Their services provide either intensive case management for psychosis or the care and treatment for anxiety, depression, affective disorders, personality disorders and trauma.

Community Mental Health Practitioner essential skills:

  • The ability to observe, assess and respond to problems in complex and unpredictable environments
  • Prepare and maintain patient records
  • Implement evidence based care plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure the correct administration and monitoring of medication
  • The ability to implement and share best practice of local policy across multi agency platforms
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and their families
  • To keep calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging or confrontational behaviour;
  • Good organisation and problemsolving skills
  • Effective team work skills with the ability to support and communicate appropriately between multiple agency platforms
  • Maintain honesty, integrity and transparency

Meditemp requires you to have:

  • Minimum 6 months recent experience as a community mental health practitioner
  • NMC registration
  • Occupational Health in line with the dept. of health
  • Eligibility to work within the UK
  • Valid driver's licence
