**CNC Programmer Setter Operator
**£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
**Monday - Friday / 07:30 - 16:30

Permanent position working for a company that provide large stockists and distributors in the UK and Continental Europe with high-quality stainless steel and carbon steel flanges and fittings.


A CNC machinist is required to work within a small production team with knowledge of programming, setting, and operating on CNC Lathes equipped with Fanuc and Siemens controls.

This client based in Dudley requires a dynamic, leading CNC Lathe programmer/setter/operator on a permanent basis.

As a CNC PSO, you will be required to:


  • Program, set and operate a CMZ Lathe TC35 Series
  • Program, set and operate a Colchester Alpha Combination Lathe
  • Program, set and operate a Dugard EC01000VMC
  • Use Fanuc and Siemens control systems.
  • Program edit to retain size and tolerance and programme test new items when necessary.
  • Utilize measuring tools.
  • Understand engineering drawings.
  • Load and unload components from machinery.
  • Follow the business TPM Schedule, by maintaining a clean work area and perform machine maintenance both during and after shift.
  • Comply with all policies, manuals, objectives, processes, procedures, and work instructions pertaining to quality, health and safety, and the environment.
The CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator should have the following skills or experience:

  • Relevant experience CNC Programming, setting, and operating on CNC lathes.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls.
  • Able to commute to the Dudley site Monday to Friday.
  • Availability to put in additional hours as and when needed by the business.
