We are looking for a part time Learning Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team based in South Tottenham. This role will be 3 days a week.


As Learning Support Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of Learning and Behaviour Specialists (LaBs); (our support staff)
  • Providing on the ground operational support including staff absences, organising cover for breaks and assisting the LaBs when required.
  • Working directly with our learners and ensuring the delivery of a highquality service via personcentred programmes
  • Maintaining excellent levels of care and support that follow agreed practices and protocols
  • Supporting SLT with recruitment, selection, induction and training of the Ambitious College learning support team.

What we are looking for:


  • Demonstrable experience of supervising/mentoring staff in a service for people with autism, with the ability to lead, motivate and performancemanage effectively
  • Experience of working directly with people with autism and a willingness to undertake direct care tasks, as well as participating in college and communitybased sessions
  • Knowledge of CQC regulation requirements and compliance, ideally with demonstrable experience of working in a CQCregistered service
  • Experience of supporting people who can engage in a range of behaviours that challenge using a positive behaviour support approach
  • The commitment and flexibility to provide highquality personcentred support

Hours:3 days per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm (24 hours per week)


Salary:
£33,319 per annum (pro rata)
