Description

We're looking to recruit experienced Care Support Workers for permanent, positions, working within Whitburn and West Lothian Communities (All Areas).

If you have caring experience, then we would like to hear from you. The role will involve supporting vulnerable adults within their homes and community.

You need to be a good team player, communicator, listener, focused, dedicated and reliable. Responsibilities include providing personal care, housework, medication management, and helping with day-to-day tasks and companionship.

Have a current PVG or be willing to join the scheme.
Have SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) membership or be willing to join the scheme.
A cando, positive attitude.
Be kind, and caring, and strive to provide the highest level of care and support possible to vulnerable service users.
The ability to confidently work alone and as part of a wider team.
Be able to work using your initiative.
Car driver

Benefits include:

Wages Start at £11.00 per hour.
20 days annual leave on a rolling rotas basis
Mileage paid at 30p
Full and extensive training.
Ongoing support from management through regular team meetings, supervision, and annual personal development assessment. Due to the nature of the role, experience in care is preferred.
You will need to hold N/SVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.
