Role Profile:
Finance Administrator
Purpose
The role of the Finance Administrator is to provide consistent, accurate, efficient and effective support to the Finance Manager and to the Finance Team for the development and operation of the finance functions of North Bridge House Group of schools as directed by the Finance Manager.

- Contribute to finance operations and suggestions for improvements
- Support the aims and ethos of the school;
- Attend events
- Attend INSET days and participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
- To participate in arrangements made for Let's Talk annual appraisal
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating procedures and ensuring efficient processing of financial transactions.
- Processing supplier invoices/responding to supplier queries.
- Performing financial administration tasks in a timely manner to help maintain effective and flexible finance transactions, processes, and procedures.
- Supporting the Finance team with regards to regular monthly checks, following up payments owed and/or payment queries.
- Supporting the setup of accounts, contacting suppliers of goods and services to obtain information relating to prices, orders, deliveries, and payments as required.
- Supporting the finance team to ensure business processes are followed in schools.
- Providing back up/business continuity to Finance team as necessary.
REPORTING & GENERAL:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with financial budgetary information for month end reporting.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:
As part of the Finance Team, the Finance Administrator will also provide general administrative assistance and support including:
- Taking incoming calls and directing them as appropriate.
- Any other general administration as deemed reasonable and necessary.
- Holiday or temporary cover as required.

Person Specification
Essential Desirable
- Intermediate skills in using MS
- Educated to GCSE level with
Qualifications Maths and English at Grades
Excel
A*-C or equivalent
