Social Care Worker

Hampton Road, Birmingham, B23 7JJ

15 hours per week

£7,722 per annum

Shift Patterns: 24 hour service, various shifts between 7:00am - 9:30pm across 7 days a week

The Group consists of;

  • Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
  • Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.

About the role


Trident Reach are looking for a Social Care Worker (Female, due to needs of customer group) to join the team supporting an all-female customer group within a residential care home.

The home supports people with complex needs, who have a Learning Disability, Autism, and Mental Health, and include a forensic background.

About you


We are looking for highly motivated individual who would like to join our team in order to deliver good quality service to vulnerable adults.

You will be responsible for looking after service users and supporting them with their daily requirements.

  • Caring and sensitive Selfmotivated
  • A positive attitude around person centred approaches to working with individuals with learning disabilities and associated flexible & reliable
  • Good communication Skills
  • Experience of working within a busy care environment, including all aspects of care (e.g. personal care, manual handling, daily support)
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Confident in Lone working
  • Competent administration of medication, recording relevant information accurately as directed.
