Starting as soon as possible we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and enthusiastic team at our primary school in Leeds.
As a Teaching Assistant at this Ofsted rated Good Primary school in Leeds you will be responsible for providing learning support to individuals and groups while managing behaviour and supporting teaching staff.
As a Teaching Assistant you will have:
- Experience in supporting pupils in a classroom environment, including those with challenging behaviours.
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Sound understanding of the emotional needs of children and effective communication to support their learning,
- Is caring, patient, empathetic and resilient with the ability to demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skills.
- Is a team player with the ability to fit in with the running of the school and classroom in order to maintain a happy professional environment.
- Demonstrable commitment to equal opportunities.
- An interest in continuing your personal and professional development.
- Will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care
