Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant

Oldham

£ per day

Type:
Temporary (with potential to become permanent in September)

Tradewind recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary SEND TA to join the team.

Our client school is a specialist provision for Autism, located in Oldham.

They are an Ofsted Good Provision with outstanding features, and strive to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for their pupils and families.

They follow the national curriculum,and have a holistic approach to their pupils' learning journey.


Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons, tailored to the needs of children with special needs

Assess and monitor the progress of pupils, and provide constructive feedback to parents and carers

Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment

Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and training opportunities


Requirements:

Experience in a Primary SEND setting (desirable)

Ability to deliver engaging and meaningful lessons

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Passion for working with children with special needs
