We are recruiting for a Theatre Team Leader who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We have 4 new roles available as Scrub Theatre Team Leaders. One of the posts is for the Vascular Theatres and one is for the CEPOD Theatre.The other 2 posts could be in any of the following specialities, Orthopaedics/Trauma, Plastic surgery, ENT, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, CEPOD, Gynae/Urology, Procedure Rooms Lister Hospital, Procedure Rooms QE2

Maintain health, safety and control of Infection in clinical work areas.
Assist and care for patients undergoing a variety of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynae, Plastics, Robotics, ENT and General Surgery) and Emergency procedures.
Prepare equipment/ supplies and waste is kept to a minimum.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
Ability to work in any of the Theatre areas according to service needs, regardless of which theatre department they are based in, although it is anticipated that staff do permanently work in the department they are employed to be based in.
Supervise staff within a specific area of responsibility.
Participate in the training of ODP/Nursing students.
Participate in supervision and training of qualified or unqualified staff.
Act as a professional role model.
