Senior Demand Planner

Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Demand Planner to join a industry leading FMCG company based in Norwich, this company have over a dozen well renowned and loved brands but this role will be focusing on two of their brands specifically.

While this role is based in Norwich or Pontefract they offer a hybrid working model meaning you will only need to go into the office 2 times a week, the other 3 days you will be able to work from home.

Duties of the Senior Demand Planner

Lead and coordinate the demand planning master plan for dedicated channels.
Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop forecasting models, research demand drivers and evaluate forecasting results.
Analyse trends and promotional volumes to alter recommendations to cross functional teams.
Collaborate with Commercial team to maintain an accurate 18 month rolling forecast at multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons.
Mentorship and support of surrounding team, there is no direct management but this role is expected to take a supervisory role when required.
Grow close working relationships with key customers, both UK and Internationally, in order to improve forecasting and optimise supply, including regular customer facing reviews.

Experience required for the Senior Demand Planner

Knowledge of FMCG and experience working in the FMCG industry.
Excellent analytical skills, highly numerate with good IT skills and strong excel.
In depth knowledge of forecasting, inventory control, manufacturing and production processes and distribution.
Commercially aware with the ability to cultivate innovation.

Salary:
£35,000 - £42,000

This role would be well suited to a demand planner, senior demand planner, supply chain analyst, senior supply chain analyst or forecast analyst.
