Damicor is supporting our client based at Heathrow Airport with the recruitment of an EAM Reporting Manager role into their Engineering Division.


Overall Role Purpose:
In support of the Engineering and Asset Management Strategy, the EAM Reporting Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our enterprise asset management system, Maximo and associated asset reporting systems are fit for purpose for the business through:

  • Ensuring the integrity of the systems and data structures
  • Deliver changes to continuously improve our reporting systems and provide support to the EAM systems development manager.

Primary Focus of the Role is to:
Enterprise asset management system, Maximo
Advanced Excel
SQL database server

Principle accountabilities:
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the EAM reporting systems so that they remain fit for purpose, align with the business needs while keeping the user experience at the heart of developments
Specification, design and technical development of engineering and asset management reports using suitable reporting tools
Accountable for assuring that the system and its data structures are maintained to the Engineering Information Management (EIMS) standard and kept in line with other relevant standards such as the Common Language
Ensure the integrity of the system as it is developed through:

  • the management of the change request process from submission to development
- maintenance of systems documentation in line with these developments and enhancements
- the management of rigorous user acceptance testing using suitable resource from within the immediate team or wider user community
Work with IT and users to ensure prompt systems fault analysis and appropriate resolution and where necessary feed into the change request process for system enhancements
Functional Expertise
Working knowledge and experience of best practice approaches for enterprise asset management systems, asset data and reporting. Technical knowledge of business reporting toolsets.
Business Expertise
The ability to understand and balance operational priorities with other business stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations to be able to prioritise opportunities for system, reporting and data improvements. Understanding of business processes supportedby our asset management systems such as asset management, asset integration and capital projects
Leadership
Technical guidance to users of our asset management systems. Leadership for embedding the right culture of data driven decision making through consistent use of our systems and reporting
Problem Solving
Identifying areas for continuous improvement. Developing and implementing innovative reporting framework solutions to meet our business requirements
Nature & Area of Impact

To be able to understand how the integrity of our systems, data and reporting impact on the business and stakeholders.

Engage with front-line through to senior managers to ensure our reporting framework remains fit for purpose and support the business processesand objectives

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in engineering and asset management organisations with a focus on technical support systems such as CMMS and EAM systems.


Technical knowledge/experience in the following:

  • Maximo v
  • Database principles
  • Advanced SQL
  • BIRT or other reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel
Demonstrable prioritisation and decision making capability, including during periods of ambiguity
Highly numerate and literate with a high standard of oral presentation skills
Collaborative working and strong influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to model and demonstrate appropriate behaviours to lead change
