An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Older Persons Community Mental Health Team based at Newtown House in Eastleigh.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Practitioner who has an interest in working with older people with mental health problems.

The team aspires to deliver high quality care to our patients as well as being a supportive environment, giving all staff the opportunity for learning and development.

Currently the OPMH transformation team are focusing on development of the following areas:

Memory Assessment Service
In Reach/Liaison Services
Crisis Service
Functional Pathway

if you have a keen interest in any of these areas then now is the time to join and influence the development and delivery of these pathways.

There are also potential research opportunities linking into the world renowned Memory Assessment Research Centre based at Moorgreen Hospital.

The supportive leadership team promote the development of our services to provide the best outcomes for our patients and we know that to achieve this we need to invest in our staff through creating a good working environment and providing extensive training opportunities.

We are also open to flexible ways of working with hybrid working available.
