Job Purpose


Energise Energy Solutions are looking for someone to assist the existing compliance team within the EES EV/Renewable department acting as a qualified supervisor currently covering Domestic/Commercial EV and Solar PV.

This role will be predominately office-based with some travel into the field as required, with potential overnight stays. There may be the need to support in field from time to time as business requirements dictate.
Currently the role is more weighted towards the EV sector, but the Solar PV/Battery Storage is quickly growing.

Duties

  • Signing off and validating electrical certificates for submission
  • Desktop reviews of installations to ensure installed to standard
  • Provide technical support to field engineers, backoffice staff and project management teams and customers
  • Installation design
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Conduct onsite audits, mentoring and coaching to field operative
  • Creating and issuing technical guidance and TBT's
  • Sound understanding of and experience with the H&S requirements of the EV/Renewables sector
  • Experience in creating RAMS
  • Ensuring all H&S policies and SSoW are suitable.
  • Ensuring all incidents are reported, investigated and root cause analysis conducted
- liaising with clients and third-party contracts

  • Building control submission to NICEIC
  • ENA submissions to relevant DNO's
  • Keeping up to date with industry changes and product development
  • Salary dependant on experience
  • Monthly Bonus of up to £500, based on company/team KPIs

Role Requirements

  • Full Driving licence
  • 18 Edition BS7671 edition (

AMD:
2)

  • NVQ Level 3 in electrotechnical installation
  • Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
  • Solar PV installation course (2399 or equivalent)
  • EV installation course (2919 or equivalent)
  • Sound understanding of Domestic and Commercial electrical installation of EV and Solar PV and experience of
  • Up to date knowledge and/or experience with EV, Solar PV and battery storage installations and their specific requirements
  • Intermediate level user of Microsoft Packages
  • Completion of Electrical Certification
  • Understanding and experience with the requirements of MCS certification from survey to performance estimation to commissioning documentation
  • Ability to see weakness areas and develop solutions company wide and at an individual level
  • Auditing and coaching experience (TAQA/CAVA assessor course preferable)
  • Knowledge/Experience of MOCOPA requirements
