SEN Teaching Assistant - Brookwood, Surrey

New Road Education is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in the Worcester Park area.

The child requiring support has very complex needs, a diagnosis of ASC and displays traits of PDA (pathological demand avoidance).

The child is currently working away from the classroom and would require someone who is patient, has the ability to think on their feet, and also be able to form a good relationship with them.


This full-time position will require you to work on Monday to Friday (term-time only and school hours) for the remainder of the academic year.


  • Have experience working directly with children who have SEN.
  • Have previously come from an educational / healthcare background.
  • Be patient, caring and understanding of children's needs.
  • Have the ability to form good relationships with children.

    £90. Negotiable depending on experience.
