An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within the MDT team and support as an Assistant MDT Coordinator.

This is a fixed term position working 30 hours per week across Monday - Friday.

  • Take responsibility for tracking of tertiary patients
  • Take responsibility for subsequent tracking
  • To act as an assistant coordinator and provide administrative support to the Multi-Disciplinary Team MDT coordinators
  • Assist in coordinating weekly, fortnightly, monthly MDT meetings ensuring patient notes, radiology reports and histology results are made available and any actions recommended at the MDT meeting are followedup.
  • Assist in ensuring administration duties are carried out in accordance with site specific MDT's to include circulating lists of cases to be discussed, recording attendance at MDT.
  • Assist in ensuring sitespecific data is collected on relevant databases, using identified data collection processes, in agreement with the clinical teams.
  • Ensure data recorded is of good quality and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining filing systems for MDT's enabling the team efficiently access core information.
  • Liaise with Medical Secretaries, Consultants, CNS and Manager as appropriate.
  • To carry out other general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the office, as and when required.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times
  • To minimise hazards in the working area and report any identifiable hazards to the line manager. To adhere to all safe systems of work applicable to the work area
