Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation in Exeter which is looking to recruit a Senior IT Practitioner on an interim basis for 6 months initially.

This is a new vacancy for a Delivery Manager.

The Digital Workplace team is one of the largest teams within Operation Technology and is lacking a role between the Senior Infrastructure Engineer's and the Service Owner.

Working with both roles to help deliver a challenging portfolio of work on a day-to-day basis.


The Digital Workplace team is transforming (we keep evolving) how it focuses its resources to better deliver outcomes for our services that in turn benefit our customers.

Providing a proactive, efficient, and reliable IT services. This role would be for 6 months.

The Delivery manager role would focus on:

  • Communicating between technical and non-technical team members.
  • A focus on keeping the momentum on daytoday Service and project deliverables.
  • Supporting both Senior Infrastructure Engineers and the Service owner.
  • Identify obstacles which impact delivery of either a service or a project and set out plans to overcome them.
  • Help balance line management responsibilities within Digital Workplace.
Essential Criteria

  • Providing delivery confidence and maintaining delivery momentum against an agreed roadmap.
  • Team enablement by proactively removing impediments to ensure the teams can get on with the job of delivering value.
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team by creating a culture of innovation and skills development.
  • Manage Service Acceptance to ensure seamless transition to support teams.
  • Communicating between technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure the team deliver sustained business value.
