Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Restoration Welder proficient in both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join our team.
As an Automotive Restoration Welder, you will play a crucial role in restoring classic and vintage vehicles to their former glory by repairing and fabricating metal components.
Responsibilities:
- Welding metal components using MIG and TIG techniques according to project specifications.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Assessing the condition of automotive bodies and frames to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Fabricating and repairing structural components, body panels, chassis, and other metal parts.
- Ensuring welding work meets quality standards and specifications, including strength and aesthetic requirements.
- Collaborating with other team members, including automotive mechanics, painters, and fabricators, to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of welding equipment and materials.
- Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in automotive restoration or a related field.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
- Strong attention to detail and precision to produce high-quality welds and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with automotive restoration processes and techniques is preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
