Description
As a Credit Controller with Taylor Maxwell & Co Ltd, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a debtors ledger & cash collection for a business/set of customers to maximise collections & minimise risk.
This position is full time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday).Detail
- Prompt management and resolution of queries
- Customer & Debtor account reconciliations
- Cash allocations / postings
- Perform Credit Checks
- Customer account set up / credit checking / management of credit limits
- Telephone Cash Collections
- Report on accounts, bad debts & insurance claims
- Reduce overall debtor levels
Essential
- 2+ years' experience working in Credit Control / Finance Role
- Experience of using Microsoft Great Plains / Dynamics / Other Accounting Packages
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm and assertive being able to communicate across all levels of the business.
- Capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Methodical with attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable
- Qualified with a Chartered Institute of Credit Management
- Knowledge of construction industry / distribution businesses
