A great opportunity for software tester to join a dynamic and growing technology company as a Software Tester based on the outskirts of central Bristol.

The company develops tailored software solutions for the health and social industry. Due to their continued success, they're looking for an experienced software tester to join their team.

You will be working closely with the helpdesk and development team; this role offers opportunities for progression and you'll be part of an enthusiastic and friendly team where new ideas and methodologies are welcomed and encouraged.

Duties to include:
New Software Releases
Manually performing;

Unit tests
Regression tests

Build automated tests
Reporting on failures
Suggesting improvements
Problem Solving
Working directly with Service Desk as 2nd line function
Attempting to recreate software issues that exist with live software
Using initiative to find solutions to complex problems
Reporting to 3rd line development team to fix confirmed issues

Skills Required (desirable not essential):
Technical
Android software
SQLLite

JIRA
Automated testing
Willing to work as a team with Service Desk
Logical and methodical approach
Outside of the box thinking
1 year+ testing experience or more is preferred

Desirable skills:
Experience of working in testing databases and working with a software development team

Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Job Types:
Temp to perm, Temporary contract

Salary:
£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
