LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER
Our local authority client is looking for a learning and development professional with strong project management skills


Full details below:

JOB PURPOSE


It's an exciting period of change; developing people capabilities and introduction of a Learning Management System is key to the success of this change.

You will report to the L&D Manager and work to shape and implement, both individually and as key contributor,the learning and development provision.

You will design, implement and evaluate a variety of learning solutions.


It is a hybrid working style with a requirement to attend offices once or twice a week working 36 hours a week.


DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Commissioning, implementing & developing a Learning Management System

Designing & developing people capabilities through Skills Academies

Embedding a learning culture

Commissioning external partners to deliver development solutions

Peer-to-peer learning

Developing and embedding blended learning approaches; including use of digital solutions and learning technology

Change management


PERSON SPECIFICATION/SELECTION CRITERIA

We are looking for someone with:

  • Learning and development experience and expertise
  • Project leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of developing learning management systems
  • Strong technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence, is highly organised and able to work using initiative
  • The ability to work closely alongside and consult with various stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent facilitation skills at various levels of organisation
  • Knowledge and experience of developing learning management systems
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative team
