Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Interior Design Showroom Assistant in our Holt location.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating an exceptional customer experience within our showroom and our interior styling services.

You will assist customers in exploring our product range as well as cultivating interior styling packs, providing expert advice and guidance to support Birdie Fortescue directly with interior projects.

Additionally, you will contribute to the overall visual presentation of the showroom, ensuring that displays are aesthetically pleasing and effectively showcase our products.

Along with the creative admin for all interior services projects and occasional trade services.


Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer design recommendations to customers.
• Assist customers with product selection, including coordinating colours, fabrics, and finishes.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the showroom floor, including product displays and demonstration areas.
• Collaborate with the Trade and Retail team to achieve Interior Services sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assisting in design projects, collaborating with project leads to assist in the development and execution of interior design projects.
• Creating design presentations for projects, prepare design presentations, mood boards, and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and team members.
• Communicate with clients to understand their initial needs, preferences, and requirements for a interior design project.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to project management, such as organising files, maintaining project documentation, and tracking project expenses.
• Occasional site visit support when location projects arise.
• Occasional crossover with trade administration for design queries and larger projects/orders.
• Stay informed about current interior design trends, product offerings, and industry developments.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or interior design is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Basic computer skills for Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with EstiMac, Sketchup/AutoCAD advantageous.
• Interior design graduate or industry experience would be preferred but not essential.

Days

We are open to full-time and part-time options with days flexible apart from one of these days to be a Saturday working in Holt.

£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
