Working Hours 2 days / 15 hours per week, between Monday-Friday (9am-5.30pm)

About the Role
We are a small, creative team in the art supply industry looking for a talented Video Editor to join us in producing engaging short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram, as well as longer videos for YouTube and our website.
You will work closely with the Head of Visual Content and Head of Photography in-house, in London - editing raw footage created and supplied by the creative team, piecing together footage, and inputting on the narrative, to captivate our audience and communicate our brand message effectively.
As well as working with existing brand guidelines, there's an opportunity for creative input in terms of repurposing existing content for our Social Media, such as Adverts and trailers etc.
About You
The role requires a hard-working, self-driven individual, who has a great understanding of video editing, a high attention to detail, and good creative ideas.
You will be technically led and competent with current software.
You will be comfortable taking responsibility and working with a high level of autonomy.
You will be open to being guided by the team's vision, as well as having a genuine desire to input creative ideas as and when.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit shortform videos for social media, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
- Edit videos for Jackson's ecommerce website
- Using transitions, cuts, and effects to enhance the visual aesthetic of our videos
- Edit video transitions to compliment music and/or audio tracks
- Share/feedback uptodate, latest video editing trends, techniques, and software with the team
- Collaborate with the social media and visual content teams to ensure the videos align with our brand message and strategy
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Adhoc video editing tasks.
Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Adhere to an operational policy of 'a place for everything and everything in its place'.
No direct or supervisory responsibilities are assigned to this role
Requirements:
Essential
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- A minimum of 2 years video editing experience.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Suite, and both Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for social media and the latest video trends
- Enthusiasm for art materials and painting.
- Experience of working with a creative team.
- Creative thinker with excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to competently problem solve and multitask in a fast paced environment working to tight deadlines.
