CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR - ONE YEAR MATERNITY LEAVE CONTRACT

Location:

  • West Molesey (2 days per week Office, 3 days at Work from Home)

Salary:
£22k - £23k plus Profit Share


Hours:
Mon - Fri 9-5:30


Our client who are a leader in their field are on the lookout for a Customer Service Coordinator on a maternity leave contract to join the Team.


Purpose of the role:


Showroom order support:


  • This involves daily review of all new and existing transactions from each showroom, and processing & progressing as necessary allocating stock, placing special orders, arranging delivery etc.
  • Managing the internal "orderbook" of branch orders for each branch and keeping accurate & up to date records of the status of all orders for easy reference.
  • Liaising with showroom retail staff to ensure up to date order information is communicated accurately so that customers & staff can be kept informed of the progress of their orders.
  • Taking & allocating balance payments for showroom customers prior to dispatch.
  • Advising showroom customers once orders are ready for delivery and arranging deliveries as required.
  • Assisting our showroom staff with all types of support arranging for new product information to be added to our system, checking factory stock with our overseas suppliers and arranging physical stock checks of our UK stock.

Commercial order processing:


  • Accurate & timely processing & progressing of orders received for our commercial projects and Distribution customers.
  • Coordinating stock & delivery for the above orders, keeping the customers & salespeople advised of availability and potential issues with supply.
  • Ensuring that all orders are correctly priced in accordance with customer pricing agreements.

Providing retail prices to our Retail Distribution partners, in writing where necessary, ensuring accurate & up to date information is provided.

Providing helpful& informative customer service to the above customers
- this involves checking UK warehouse & overseas factory stock, advising lead times, delivery dates & options, and pricing requests.

  • Order management, to ensure all orders are delivered within standard timeframes.
  • Arranging returns / collections in accordance with company policy, in timely manner & at minimum cost to the company
  • Daily liaison with our credit control teams to ensure all orders are dispatched within current credit limits or paid for before dispatch.
  • Processing sample requests and other administrative tasks on our internal CRM system for private & professional customers.
