At Yuill & Dodds Ltd due to continual growth and expansion in our new workshop we have a number of opportunities for experienced time served HGV Mechanics to become part of a highly skilled team.

You will be highly skilled and competent at carrying out maintenance, repairs and modification work to our fleet of vehicles and trailers also provide technical support, from fault analysis through to completion of job card documentation.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to the following;
1 Reporting in the first instance to our Fleet Engineer and ultimately the Managing Director.

2 Repair and maintenance work on fleet assets ensuring the highest standards of work and excellent communication skills, Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.

3 Be able to carryout in-depth engineering work and diagnostics whether individually or as part of a close team, following up to date Health and Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, while maintaining the obligations of our Operators Licence.

4 Ensure that all fleet assets are legally compliant and in serviceable condition with all associated documentation completed fully to a high standard and is legible.

5 Have experience with welding and fabrication and able to operate all tools and equipment safely and competently. HGV 1-2 license would be advantageous although this is something we can work towards.

We have a flexible approach to shift patterns with 4 on 4 off, 1-2 days per week to 5-6 days per week or weekends only, We have shifts to suit your idividual needs. This is a fantastic oppertunity with opertunities to further progress your career.

Salary:
£32,000.00-£43,200.00 per year
