National Express have a fantastic opportunity to join our Training Team as a
Driver Training Instructor, based in Coventry. Working a 48 hour week, any 5 days from 7 across our Coventry and South Birmingham Deopts, you will support new and existing drivers' development through delivery of courses and other trainingsupport.

Primarily you will be delivering training to trainee bus drivers, supporting them to obtain their Category D Licence in order to be successful bus drivers for National Express.

We are looking for a safety minded individual who has a flexible attitude towards working hours and working style, taking ownership and responsibility for delivering all aspects of the licence acquisition and skills training for bus operations.

What you'll do...

Work within the driver development team delivering a variety of courses and training / development interventions to trainee and existing drivers.
Effectively deliver training in compliance with legislation and internal standards, providing role model performance in respect of adherence to policies and procedures at all times.
Provide flexible support and cover as required with other tasks undertaken within the driver development team.
Organise self and materials effectively to ensure smooth delivery of training and support.
Conform to all health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required

Must hold a valid clean PCV (Catagory D) Licence for a minimum of 3 years and be a model employee
Must have a people development focused approach and outlook
Must be organised, flexible and adaptable
Must be a strong communicator
Must have a 'can do' attitude and ability to solve problems on own initiative
Previous training experience and relevant qualifications would be an advantage
